L'invention porte sur un procédé de traitement dans un système de traitement d'eau industrielle pour au moins deux traitements choisis parmi l'inhibition de la corrosion de métaux, l'inhibition de la formation de tartre, la dispersion de matière en suspension, l'efficacité de biocides ou l'élimination de biofilm/la dispersion de biofilm grâce à l'utilisation d'au moins un composé qui est un sel dérivé d'une thioamine ou d'une oxyamine et d'un acide.
