Disclosed herein are materials and compositions comprising: an oxidized carbon black having a BET surface area ranging from 50 to 700 m2/g, a DBP oil adsorption number ranging from 50 to 200 mL/100 g, and a primary particle size ranging from 7 to 30 nm; and a polyetheramine comprising ethylene oxide and propylene oxide monomers, wherein the polyetheramine coats the oxidized carbon black. Also disclosed are coatings and coating compositions comprising these materials and methods of making the same. Cette invention concerne des matériaux et des compositions comprenant : un noir de carbone oxydé ayant une surface spécifique (méthode BET) de 50 à 700 m2/g, un indice d'adsorption d'huile DBP de 50 à 200 mL/100 g, et une taille de particules primaires de 7 à 30 nm ; et une polyétheramine comprenant des monomères d'oxyde d'éthylène et d'oxyde de propylène, la polyétheramine formant un revêtement sur le noir de carbone oxydé. Des revêtements et des compositions de revêtement comprenant ces matériaux et des procédés pour les préparer sont également décrits.
