Summary:A toner for electrostatic image development in which: a binder resin is a polyester resin; and a release agent dispersant aid is a styrene/acrylic copolymer resin including at least either an alpha-methyl styrene or a styrene structure, and is included in the ratio of 5.5-12 parts by weight relative to 100 parts by weight of the polyester resin. The acid value of the styrene/acrylic copolymer resin is 3-9 KOH mg/g, and the acid value of the toner is 14-19 KOH mg/g. Le toner pour développement de charge électrostatique de l'invention, présente une résine polyester en tant que résine liante. Un auxiliaire de dispersion pour agent de démoulage consiste en une résine copolymère styrène - acryl contenant au moins un alpha-méthylstyrène ou une structure styrène, et est contenu selon une proportion de 5,5 à 12 parties en masse pour 100 parties en masse de résine polyester. L'indice d'acidité de ladite résine copolymère styrène - acryl, est de 3 à 9KOHmg/g, et celui du toner est 14 à 19 KOHmg/g.
