The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for selecting a Public Land Mobile Network (PLMN), and according to one embodiment of the present invention, the method for providing a PLMN of a Mobility Management Entity (MME) may comprise the steps of: receiving a request from a terminal; determining whether the terminal prefers VoLTE (Voice over Long Term Evolution) on the basis of the request; and if the terminal prefers VoLTE, transmitting an equivalent altered PLMN list that includes information on whether each PLMN supports VoLTE, or a VoLTE supporting PLMN list that includes only PLMNs supporting VoLTE. According to one embodiment of the present invention, a terminal preferring the use of VoLTE can effectively select an equivalent PLMN supporting VoLTE. La présente invention se rapporte à un procédé et à un appareil adaptés pour sélectionner un réseau mobile terrestre public (PLMN). Selon l'un des modes de réalisation de la présente invention, le procédé adapté pour fournir un réseau PLMN d'une entité de gestion de la mobilité (MME) peut comprendre les étapes consistant : à recevoir une demande en provenance d'un terminal ; à déterminer, sur la base de la demande, si le terminal préfère l'utilisation de la technologie VoLTE (voix sur évolution à long terme), ou non ; et si le terminal préfère l'utilisation de la technologie VoLTE : à transmettre une liste de PLMN modifiés équivalents, qui contient des informations relatives au fait que chaque PLMN prend en charge une technologie VoLTE, ou non ; ou à transmettre une liste de PLMN qui prennent en charge une technologie VoLTE, ladite liste contenant uniquement des PLMN qui prennent en charge une technologie VoLTE. Selon l'un des modes de réalisation de la présente invention, un terminal qui préfère l'utilisation de la technologie VoLTE peut sélectionner effectivement un PLMN équivalent qui prend en charge la technologie VoLTE.
