Capsule (18) containing at least one component (20, 26) of a lubricant for a machine element (10), whereby the capsule (18) comprises an external wall (22) comprising a first substance that is arranged to perish during the use of said machine element (10) when said capsule (18) is placed in and/or around said machine element (10) and/or into lubricant being used to lubricate said machine element (10).
