In particular, a transition of the navigation process between the active state and the reduced activity state may occur in response to the mobile device approaching a transition location on a predetermined route where the navigation process is to transition to the active state. L'invention concerne un système et un procédé pour faire subir de manière conditionnelle à un processus de navigation sur un dispositif mobile une transition entre un état actif et un état d'activité réduite. En particulier, une transition du processus de navigation entre l'état actif et l'état d'activité réduite peut se produire en réponse à l'approche, par le dispositif mobile, d'un emplacement de transition sur une route prédéterminée où le processus de navigation doit effectuer une transition vers l'état actif.
