Dean's vortices or other flow patterns that cause mixing reduce concentration polarization. The feed channel spacer is made by pressing a sheet of thermoplastic material in a die. L'invention concerne une entretoise de canal d'alimentation destinée à être utilisée dans un élément de membrane enroulée en spirale, fournissant une série de canaux intérieurs généralement parallèles. Les canaux intérieurs s'étendent depuis un côté d'entrée de l'entretoise à un côté de sortie de l'entretoise, mais suivent un chemin ondulé ou en zigzag. Des tourbillons de Dean ou autres motifs d'écoulement qui provoquent un mélange réduisent la polarisation de la concentration. L'entretoise de canal d'alimentation est fabriquée par compression d'une feuille de matière thermoplastique dans une matrice.
