Summary: | An electrode includes a conductive substrate (102) and a plurality of conductive structures (104) providing a compressible matrix of material. An active material (106) is formed in contact with the plurality of conductive structures. The active material includes a volumetrically expanding material which expands during ion diffusion such that the plurality of conductive structures provides support for the active material and compensates for volumetric expansion of the active material to prevent damage to the active material.
Selon la présente invention, une électrode comprend un substrat conducteur (102) ainsi qu'une pluralité de structures conductrices (104) formant une matrice de matériau compressible. Un matériau actif (106) se trouve en contact avec la pluralité de structures conductrices. Ce matériau actif inclut un matériau à expansion volumétrique qui se dilate lors de la diffusion d'ions, de sorte que ladite pluralité de structures conductrices portent le matériau actif et compensent l'expansion volumétrique de ce matériau actif afin d'éviter de l'endommager. |
