La présente invention concerne un caisson de protection de scanner comprenant: un caisson externe; un caisson interne à l'intérieur duquel est positionné un scanner; entre le caisson externe et le caisson interne se trouve un matériau d'isolation thermique réduisant la conductivité thermique entre le caisson externe et le caisson interne; le caisson interne présentant une première paroi latérale et une seconde paroi latérale, l'espace entre la première paroi latérale et une seconde paroi latérale étant rempli d'un liquide de refroidissement.
