The present invention is directed to nutritional and nutraceutical compositions which comprise novel mixtures of two or more indole- based dietary supplements such as L-tryptophan and melatonin, together with selected minerals and vitamins that stimulate tryptophan metabolism in the direction of serotonin and melatonin, and to their use in a preferred embodiment of the invention in a readily ingested beverage form, optionally combined with a range of other natural ingredients designed to improve the health and state of mind of human subjects. Alternative dosage forms, such as tablets for oral dosing, and dosage forms for buccal and sublingual administration, including thin films, are also incorporated in the present invention. Cette invention concerne des compositions nutritionnelles et nutraceutiques comprenant des mélanges innovants d'au moins deux compléments alimentaires à base d'indole comme le L-tryptophane et la mélatonine, avec une sélection de minéraux et de vitamines qui stimulent le métabolisme du tryptophane en faveur de la sérotonine et la mélatonine ; l'invention concerne également, dans un mode de réalisation préféré, l'utilisation desdites compositions se présentant sous une forme de boisson facile à ingérer, éventuellement associée avec une gamme d'autres ingrédients naturels conçus pour améliorer la santé et l'état psychique du sujet humain. D'autres présentations, par exemple des comprimés pour une prise par voie orale, et des préparations pour une prise orale et sous-linguale, notamment des pellicules minces, sont également décrites dans l'invention.
