The present invention relates to a terminal having a function of preventing dry eye syndrome, and to a method for controlling same. The terminal includes: a display unit which displays display information and the inducing information for inducing blinking; and a control unit which controls the displaying of display information on the display unit and the displaying of the inducing information for inducing the user to blink while displaying the display information. One embodiment of the present invention according to said configuration may additionally display the inducing information for inducing a user to blink when displaying information, thereby preventing dry eye syndrome and maintaining eye health. La présente invention concerne un terminal ayant une fonction de prévention du syndrome de l'oeil sec, et son procédé de commande. Le terminal comprend : une unité d'affichage qui affiche des informations d'affichage et les informations d'induction pour induire un clignement ; et une unité de commande qui commande l'affichage d'informations d'affichage sur l'unité d'affichage et l'affichage des informations d'induction pour induire l'utilisateur à cligner des yeux tout en affichant les informations d'affichage.
