The present invention provides a fixing/releasing device with which a buoyancy body and a weight can be securely fixed together by a simple structure, and with which easy release of this fixed state is possible. The fixing/releasing device (observation equipment) (1) of the present invention comprises a buoyancy body (observation equipment main body) (3), a weight (anchor) (5) and a connection device (7) for connection thereof. The connection device (7) comprises a closed loop member (17) and a connection structure made up of a rotating arm (19) and a connecting member (21). The connecting member (21) is locked to the rotating arm (19), and the buoyancy body (3) is fixed as a result of the closed loop member (17) restricting the rotation of the rotating arm (19). To release the buoyancy body (3), a trigger mechanism (9) provided in the closed loop member (17) is actuated and the closed loop member (17) is fused. Thereupon, the rotating arm (19) rotates, the connection member (21) comes loose and the buoyancy body (3) is released. L'invention concerne un dispositif de fixation et de libération, lequel permet de fixer de façon sûre et au moyen d'une structure simple un corps flottant et une ancre, et qui permet également de facilement libérer les éléments fixés. Plus spécifiquement, le dispositif de fixation et de libération (instrument d'observation) (1) de cette invention est constitué d'un corps flottant (corps principal de l'instrument d'observation) (3), d'une ancre (5) et d'un dispositif d'assemblage (7) unissant le corps flottant (3) et l'ancre (5). Le dispositif d'assemblage (7) possède un élément en boucle fermée (17) et une structure d'assemblage constituée d'un bras rotatif (19) et d'un élément d'assemblage (21). L'élément d'assemblage (21) est bloqué sur le bras rotatif (19) et l'élément en boucle fermée (17) limite la rotation du bras rotatif (19) ce qui a pour conséquence la fixation du corps flottant (3). Pour libérer le corps flottant (3), un mécanisme de déclenchement (9) situé sur l'élément en boucle fermée (17) est actionné, et l'élément en boucle fermée (17) fond. Ainsi, le bras rotatif (19) pivote, l'élément d'assemblage (21) coulisse et le corps flottant (3) est libéré.
