The present disclosure is directed to an apparatus and method for delivering an ophthalmic solution to a portion of an eye, wherein the portion of the eye may be the stroma. The apparatus may be a syringe device including a syringe body and a plunger. The syringe body may further include a syringe body flange, a barrel, and a needle holding portion for holding a needle therein. The plunger may further include a plunger flange, an insertion portion, and a plunger stem. A tube insert having a substantially small diameter may be disposed within the syringe body for containing the ophthalmic solution therein. The barrel may include external indicator markings wherein the plunger stem aligns with the markings to indicate an amount of ophthalmic solution injected into the portion of the eye. Cette invention concerne un appareil et un procédé d'administration d'une solution ophtalmique dans une partie d'oeil, ladite partie d'oeil pouvant être le stroma. L'appareil peut être un dispositif de type seringue comprenant un corps de seringue et un piston. Le corps de seringue peut en outre comprendre une bride de corps de seringue, un cylindre, et une partie porte-aiguille conçue pour contenir une aiguille. Le piston peut en outre comprendre une bride de piston, une partie à insérer, et une tige de piston. Un insert tubulaire ayant un diamètre relativement petit et destiné à contenir la solution ophtalmique peut être placé à l'intérieur du corps de seringue. Le cylindre peut comprendre des graduations indicatrices externes, la tige de piston s'alignant sur lesdites graduations pour indiquer la quantité de solution ophtalmique qui sera injectée dans la partie d'oeil.
