A vascular remodeling device and methods for its use are provided. The device can. be positionable at a junction of a bifurcation having an aneurysm and that defines afferent and efferent vessels. Ends of the device can be at least partially inserted into the aneurysm or can anchor the device by being at least partially inserted into efferent vessels. The device can act as a scaffolding to inhibit dislodging of objects out of the aneurysm. The device can permit perfusion to the efferent vessels. Embolic material can be inserted in the aneurysm before, during, and/or after positioning the device. La présente invention concerne un dispositif de remodelage vasculaire et ses procédés d'utilisation. Ledit dispositif peut être placé au niveau d'une jonction d'une bifurcation présentant un anévrisme et qui définit des vaisseaux afférents et efférents. Des extrémités du dispositif peuvent être au moins partiellement insérées dans l'anévrisme, ou peuvent ancrer le dispositif en étant au moins partiellement insérées dans des vaisseaux efférents. Ledit dispositif peut agir en tant qu'échafaudage pour empêcher le délogement d'objets hors de l'anévrisme. Ce dispositif permet la perfusion vers les vaisseaux efférents. Des matériaux emboliques peuvent être insérés dans l'anévrisme avant, pendant et/ou après le positionnement du dispositif.
