Summary:The present invention can prevent a drug that has been discharged during air removal and that is retained at a skin-contacting section from attaching to the skin of a user. The present invention is provided with: a needle tube (5) having a needle tip that punctures skin; a needle hub (6); and an absorption section (26) that absorbs the drug. The needle hub (6) has: a holding section (first member (11)) that holds the needle tube; an insertion section (31) to which the discharge section (52) of a syringe is inserted; and a flange-shaped skin-contacting section (25) that is disposed in a manner so as to cover the periphery of the needle tube (5) and that contacts and/or faces the skin when the needle tube (5) punctures a living body. Also, the absorption section (26) is provided to the skin-contacting section (25) of the needle hub (6).
