The proxy platform also receives information about the mobile device (403). The proxy platform processes and/or facilitates a processing of the information about the mobile device and sends the webpage to the mobile device in a format that is based on the information about the mobile device (405). The mobile device may then operate in a low-power mode when browsing the requested website. L'invention concerne une conception permettant de fournir une expérience de navigation basse consommation sur un dispositif mobile. Une plate-forme mandataire reçoit une demande de page Web (401). La plate-forme mandataire reçoit également des informations relatives au dispositif mobile (403). La plate-forme mandataire traite et/ou facilite un traitement des informations relatives au dispositif mobile et envoie la page Web au dispositif mobile dans un format qui s'appuie sur les informations relatives au dispositif mobile (405). Le dispositif mobile peut ensuite fonctionner dans un mode basse consommation lors de la visite du site Web demandé.
