Summary:A shore-based variable frequency power supply system in port comprises a variable frequency power supply (C), a port high-voltage substation (A) and a ship power system (H). An input terminal of the variable frequency power supply is connected with the port high-voltage substation; the output terminal of the variable frequency power supply is connected with the ship power system. The power supply system can continuously output a three-phase AC voltage that its voltage can be regulated in a range of 0~6.6kV or 0~10kV and its frequency can be regulated in a range of 0~60Hz. The output side of the variable frequency power supply is connected with a distribution circuit (G) via cable reels (F), the high-voltage output supplies power to the ship power system via the distribution circuit directly, and the low-voltage output distributes power to the ship power system via a step-down transformer (T1). The power consumed by the power supply system is drawn from the port high-voltage substation, thus, the environment p
