La présente invention se rapporte à un procédé permettant d'installer une plate-forme submersible. Le procédé consiste à abaisser la plate-forme dans l'eau à partir d'un navire positionné au-dessus de la plate-forme pendant que des pieux qui raccordent le navire à la plate-forme stabilisent la plate-forme pendant la descente. La présente invention se rapporte également à un ensemble composé du navire et de la plate-forme et à un navire qui est utilisé pour se raccorder à la plate-forme.
