The invention concerns a test tape device (10) for use of a replaceable analytical tape cassette (14) comprising a housing (12) having a cassette compartment (20) covered by a cassette door (22) and a housing opening (24) for sample application, a protective cover (26) which can be moved between a closed position covering the housing opening (24) and a release position allowing access to the housing opening (24), and a door lock (28) for retaining the cassette door (22) in the closed position, wherein the protective cover (26) is coupled with the door lock (28) via an interlocking mechanism (56), such that the door lock (28) can only be unlocked in the release position of the cover (26). L'invention concerne un dispositif à ruban de test (10) destiné à utiliser une cassette à ruban d'analyse remplaçable (14) comprenant un boîtier (12) présentant un compartiment pour cassette (20) fermé par une porte de cassette (22) et un orifice de boîtier (24) permettant l'application d'échantillons, un couvercle de protection (26) pouvant être déplacé entre une position fermée couvrant l'orifice du boîtier (24) et une position de libération permettant un accès à l'orifice du boîtier (24), et un verrou de porte (28) destiné à maintenir la porte de cassette (22) en position fermée, le couvercle de protection (26) étant relié au verrou de porte (28) par l'intermédiaire d'un mécanisme d'enclenchement (56) de telle manière que le verrou de porte (28) ne puisse être déverrouillé qu'à la position libérée du couvercle (26).
