Summary:A pickup is disclosed for an agricultural machine having a frame carrying a crop pickup mechanism and supported on the ground by means of two support wheels (14). Each support wheel (14) is rotatably mounted on a carrier (22) that is connected to the frame of the pickup for rotation about a caster axis (26). Each wheel carrier (22) is connected by a respective spring (32,132) to a point fixed (34) relative to the frame of the pickup. The spring (32,132) biases the carrier (22) to cause the support wheel (14) to park in a predetermined direction relative to the frame of the pickup. La présente invention concerne une ramasseuse pour machine agricole équipée d'un châssis portant un mécanisme de ramassage de récolte et supportée au sol au moyen de deux roues de support (14). Chaque roue de support (14) est montée en rotation sur un dispositif de support (22) qui est raccordé au châssis de la ramasseuse afin de tourner autour d'un axe de roulette (26). Chaque dispositif de support de roue (22) est raccordé par un ressort respectif (32, 132) à un point fixe (34) par rapport au châssis de la ramasseuse. Le ressort (32, 132) sollicite le dispositif de support (22) afin d'amener la roue de support (14) à se positionner dans une direction prédéterminée par rapport au châssis de la ramasseuse.
