Summary:The present invention is directed to an enclosure for protecting a cable connection. The enclosure includes a sealing member contained within an inner shell. The sealing member is secured around the cable connection by slideably engaging a rigid outer shell over the inner shell. The inner shell has an external topography defining an inner shell profile and wherein the outer shell has an internal topography defining an outer shell profile such that the outer shell profile is similar to the inner shell profile. La présente invention porte sur une enceinte pour protéger une connexion de câble. L'enceinte comprend un élément d'étanchéité contenu à l'intérieur d'une coque interne. L'élément d'étanchéité est fixé autour de la connexion de câble par la prise par coulissement d'une coque externe rigide sur la coque interne. La coque interne a une topographie externe définissant un profil de coque interne, et la coque externe a une topographie interne définissant un profil de coque externe, de telle sorte que le profil de coque externe est similaire au profil de coque interne.
