A white light LED-based lighting device configured for direct replacement of existing incandescent lighting devices is provided. The white light LED-based lighting device comprises a group of solid state light emitting diodes, electronics to activate the light emitting diodes, said solid state light emitters mounted on a planar surface, reflective optics located at the output of the lighting device, the planar surface with solid state light emitters located at the entrance to said reflective optics, and an encapsulating housing configured for direct replacement of existing incandescent lighting devices. L'invention concerne un dispositif d'éclairage à DEL, à lumière blanche, qui est configuré pour le remplacement direct de dispositifs d'éclairage incandescents existants. Le dispositif d'éclairage à DEL, à lumière blanche, comporte un groupe de diodes électroluminescentes à semi-conducteurs, un système électronique pour activer les diodes électroluminescentes, lesdits dispositifs électroluminescents à semi-conducteurs étant montés sur une surface plane, une optique réfléchissante située à la sortie du dispositif d'éclairage, la surface plane portant les dispositifs électroluminescents à semi-conducteurs étant située à l'entrée de ladite optique réfléchissante, et un boîtier d'encapsulation configuré pour remplacer directement des dispositifs d'éclairage incandescents existants.
