Summary:Embodiments of the present invention relate to searching for content on the Internet. A user may supply a search query to a device, and the device may issue the search query to a plurality of search engines, including at least one general purpose search engine and at least one site-specific search engine. In this way, the user need not separately issue search queries to each of the plurality of search engines. Des modes de réalisation de la présente invention concernent les recherches de contenus sur l'Internet. Un utilisateur peut envoyer une requête de recherche à un dispositif et le dispositif peut envoyer la requête de recherche à une pluralité de moteurs de recherche, parmi lesquels au moins un moteur de recherche polyvalent et au moins un moteur de recherche dépendant des sites. Il n'est ainsi pas nécessaire que l'utilisateur émette séparément des requêtes de recherche pour chacun de la pluralité de moteurs de recherche.
