The present invention is a method for manufacturing a rubber composition that contains a rubber component, a resin, a reinforcing filler, and a cross-linker. Said method comprises: a first step in which a master batch is prepared by adding the resin to the rubber component; a second step in which a filled master batch is prepared by kneading the reinforcing filler into the master batch; and a third step in which the cross-linker is kneaded into the filled master batch. This makes it possible to obtain a rubber composition that is more elastic and has a high elongation-at-break. Cette invention concerne un procédé de production d'une composition de caoutchouc qui contient un composant de caoutchouc, une résine, une charge de renforcement, et un agent de réticulation. Ledit procédé comprend : une première étape consistant à préparer un mélange maître par ajout de la résine au composant de caoutchouc ; une deuxième étape consistant à préparer un mélange maître chargé par incorporation par malaxage de la charge de renforcement dans le mélange maître ; et une troisième étape consistant à incorporer par malaxage l'agent de réticulation dans le mélange maître chargé. Le procédé selon l'invention permet d'obtenir une composition de caoutchouc qui est plus élastique et présente un allongement à la rupture élevé.
