L'invention concerne la séparation de paraffines normales d'isoparaffines par adsorption modulée en pression à cycle rapide. L'invention concerne également un procédé d'isomérisation dans lequel les paraffines normales sont transformées en isoparaffines, ce qui résulte en un flux d'effluents contenant un mélange de paraffines normales et d'isoparaffines, ledit flux d'effluents étant envoyé à une unité d'adsorption modulée en pression à cycle rapide pour effectuer la séparation des paraffines normales des isoparaffines.
