La présente invention concerne des azolopyrimidines de formule (I) dans laquelle les variables sont telles que définies dans la description, des compositions les comportant et leur utilisation comme herbicides, c'est-à-dire pour la lutte contre les plantes nuisibles ainsi qu'un procédé de lutte contre une végétation indésirable, qui comprend l'administration d'une quantité herbicide efficace d'au moins une azolopyrimidine de formule I pour agir sur des plantes, leur graines et/ou leur habitat.
