L'invention concerne un procédé et un appareil déterminant une position physique d'un dispositif d'infrastructure sans fil. Au moins une donnée de position grossière provenant d'un dispositif de terminal associé est déterminée. Des données de position grossière supplémentaires sont stockées et accumulées. La position du dispositif est considérée comme étant précise en déterminant qu'une quantité suffisante de données de position grossière ont été reçues.
