Summary: | An introducer sheath is described. The introducer sheath includes a tubular body (3100). The tubular body extends from a distal end toward a proximal end. The tubular body includes a lumen (3112). The lumen is at least partially defined by a wall. A channel (3170) may be disposed within the wall. The channel may be configured to receive a guidewire. The tubular body may include an expandable portion (3180 b) expandable to increase a cross - sectional area of the lumen.
L'invention concerne une gaine d'insertion. La gaine d'insertion comporte un corps tubulaire (3100). Le corps tubulaire s'étend d'une extrémité distale vers une extrémité proximale. Le corps tubulaire comporte une lumière (3112). La lumière est au moins partiellement délimitée par une paroi. Un passage (3170) peut être ménagé à l'intérieur de la paroi. Le passage peut être conçu pour recevoir un fil-guide. Le corps tubulaire peut comporter une partie expansible (3180b) expansible de façon à accroître la surface de la section transversale de la lumière. |
