A reactor for propylene polymerization is provided with which it is possible to stably and efficiently produce a propylene polymer at low cost by multistage consecutive vapor-phase polymerization using an olefin polymerization catalyst, and to greatly diminish the generation of off-specification products which accompanies changes in polymerization conditions. Also provided is a process for producing a propylene polymer. The reactor for propylene polymerization, which is a reactor for producing a propylene polymer by multistage consecutive vapor-phase polymerization, is characterized by being equipped with at least one horizontal reaction vessel having a stirrer inside, the stirrer rotating around a horizontal shaft, and at least one complete mixing tank connected to the horizontal reaction vessel. In the process for propylene polymer production, the reactor is used. L'invention concerne un réacteur pour la polymérisation du propylène avec lequel il est possible de produire de façon stable et efficace un polymère de propylène à faible coût par polymérisations en phase vapeur successives multistades à l'aide d'un catalyseur de polymérisation des oléfines, et de diminuer fortement la génération de produits hors spécification et qui accompagne des changements dans les conditions de polymérisation. L'invention porte également sur un procédé de fabrication d'un polymère du propylène. Le réacteur pour la polymérisation du propylène, qui est un réacteur pour produire un polymère du propylène par polymérisations en phase vapeur successives multistades, est caractérisé comme étant équipé par au moins un récipient de réaction horizontal ayant un agitateur à l'intérieur, l'agitateur tournant autour d'un arbre horizontal, et au moins un réservoir de mélange complet relié au récipient de réaction horizontal. Dans le procédé pour la production d'un polymère du propylène, le réacteur est utilisé.
