There is provided an electrical connector including a first connector having a first engaging member with a protrusion; a second connector having a second engaging member formed with a cutout; wherein the protrusion is engaged with the cutout so that the first connector and the second connector are electrically connected to each other; and the cutout is configured to suppress the protrusion from rotating in the cutout. The electrical connector has a structure to avoid the inclined unmating associating with a high risk that the fitted connectors might be unintentionally released from the fitted state. L'invention concerne un connecteur électrique comprenant un premier connecteur possédant un premier élément d'engagement avec une saillie et un second connecteur possédant un second élément d'engagement formé avec une découpe, la saillie s'engageant avec la découpe afin que le premier connecteur et le second connecteur soient connectés électriquement l'un à l'autre, et la découpe étant configurée de façon à empêcher la saillie de tourner dans la découpe. Le connecteur électrique a une structure permettant d'éviter la tendance au désaccouplement associé à un risque élevé de libération non intentionnelle des connecteurs montés à partir de l'état monté.
