Provided are: a color filter substrate wherein display quality degradation is minimized despite the occurrence of color mixture which occurs in the case of forming transparent colored layers of a plurality of colors by a method using a liquid material, such as the inkjet method; and a liquid crystal display panel and liquid crystal display device which are provided therewith. The color filter substrate has a plurality of sets each consisting of transparent colored layers of at least four colors and each being defined as a color display unit. The color filter substrate is provided with a frame-like structure which surrounds the transparent colored layers by color, wherein, in the color display unit, the transparent colored layers are arranged with the adjacency relationship among the transparent colored layers being such that the average of color differences between mutually adjacent ones thereof is minimized. La présente invention se rapporte à un substrat de filtre coloré, la dégradation de la qualité étant réduite au minimum malgré l'apparition d'un mélange de couleurs qui se produit dans le cas de la formation de couches colorées transparentes d'une pluralité de couleurs par un procédé utilisant un matériau liquide, tel que le procédé à jet d'encre ; et à un panneau d'affichage à cristaux liquides et à un dispositif d'affichage à cristaux liquides qui sont pourvus de ce substrat de filtre coloré. Le substrat de filtre coloré comprend une pluralité d'ensembles, chaque ensemble se composant de couches colorées transparentes d'au moins quatre couleurs et chaque ensemble étant défini sous la forme d'une unité d'affichage en couleur. Le substrat de filtre coloré est pourvu d'une structure de type cadre qui entoure les couches colorées transparentes avec de la couleur, les couches colorées transparentes étant disposées dans l'unité d'affichage en couleur avec la relation d'adjacence entre les couches colorées transparentes existantes de telle sorte que la moyenne des différences de couleur entre des couches colorées transparentes mutuellement adjacentes soit réduite au minimum.
