The invention relates to a pressure-sensitive paint having luminescent pyrene dye embedded in a matrix, the luminescence thereof being a function of the partial oxygen pressure above a surface of the paint, wherein the pyrene dye is a pyrene-1-yl-carbolic acid silyl ester or a corresponding silylized pyrene alcohol or a corresponding silylized pyrene ether.
