L'invention concerne un afficheur autostéréoscopique donnant une perception naturelle réelle de scènes en 3D par projection d'images en tranches de profondeur d'objets situés à des distances différentes, si bien que pendant chaque trame vidéo, la scène est segmentée en cinq profondeurs différentes ou plus, puis chacune est affichée en succession avec à la fois la disparité stéréo et la distance d'image apparente propres à chaque profondeur.
