A method for mobile communication paging is disclosed. The method includes the steps of: receiving a group paging request which carries a group identification (ID); obtaining the position information of at least one user equipment (UE) in a group corresponding to the group ID; issuing the paging request carrying the group ID to the UE in the group corresponding to the group ID in the paging range determined by the position information. A method for responding a paging is also disclosed, which includes the steps of: receiving a group paging request; randomly responding the group paging request in the scheduled time. A system and a device thereof are also provided. According to the invention, it is possible to avoid transmitting a great number of paging request information that brings significant signaling impact and resource losses to a network side, and to avoid that a great number of UEs clusteringly transmit paging responses in short time which result in network congestions, even system breakdowns.
