L'invention porte sur une batterie au sodium liquide dans laquelle deux éléments d'électrode qui prennent en sandwich une cloison faite d'une substance solide qui transmet des ions Na sont construits avec un métal ayant un travail d'extraction dont la valeur absolue est inférieure à la valeur absolue du travail d'extraction du sodium et avec un métal ayant un travail d'extraction dont la valeur absolue est supérieure à la valeur absolue du travail d'extraction du sodium.
