Ziegler-Natta catalyst compositions containing the present external electron donor exhibit strong activity and produce propylene-based olefins with high isotacticity and high melt flow rate. L'invention porte sur des compositions de catalyseur ayant un donneur d'électrons externe, qui comprend une ou plusieurs des compositions suivantes : un phosphite, un phosphonite, un pyrophosphite et/ou un diphosphazane. Des compositions de catalyseur Ziegler-Natta contenant le présent donneur d'électrons externe présentent une forte activité et produisent des oléfines à base de propylène avec une isotacticité élevée et un indice de fusion élevé.
