Control over this phenomenon provides unique polymer compositions with a range of thermo-mechanical properties, crystallinity, bio-content and biodegradability. Generation of a wide range of properties allows development of polymers that can be used for a wide range of applications.
L'invention concerne des procédés de polymérisation pour déshydrater des diols de façon à former des dimères des diols et à les incorporer dans des polyesters pendant la polycondensation. La régulation de ce phénomène donne des compositions de polymères spécifiques présentant une large gamme de propriétés thermomécaniques, de cristallinité, de contenu biologique et de biodégradabilité. L'obtention d'une large gamme de propriétés permet l'élaboration de polymères qui peuvent être utilisés dans une large gamme d'applications. |
