The present invention relates to a separate-type fire door closing apparatus for a door check, which operates in connection with the door check and is not integrally installed on the door check but rather installed separately from the door check to enable easy manufacture and installation. The separate-type fire door closing apparatus of the present invention has a sensing means for easy control. The separate-type fire door closing apparatus has a movable nut which moves forwards along with a screw rod to make the space between the movable nut and a chassis narrow, thus increasing the elastic force of a spring and enabling a rotary disk to prevent the chassis from rotating. On the contrary, when the movable nut moves backwards to make the elastic force of the spring weaker than the elastic force of a door check spring, the door check spring pushes a piston to close a fire door.
