A fiber sealing apparatus in which a seal about an outer fiber optic cable may be formed relatively independently of a seal about an inner fiber optic line. The fiber optic sealing apparatus may comprise a housing containing a central passageway there through. The housing may further comprise a fiber seal and a seal energizer configured to interact with the fiber seal. An intermediate cap may be coupled with an end of the housing and configured to apply a load to the seal energizer. An end cap may be coupled with an end of the intermediate cap and configured to seal against an inserted fiber optic cable. Applying the load to the seal energizer may result in a barrier forming around an inserted fiber optic line. La présente invention concerne un dispositif d'étanchéité de fibre, ledit dispositif permettant de former un joint autour d'un câble externe à fibre optique de façon relativement indépendante d'un joint entourant une ligne interne à fibre optique. Ledit dispositif d'étanchéité de fibre optique peut comprendre un logement traversé par un passage central. Le logement peut comprendre en outre un joint de fibre et un activateur de joint conçu pour interagir avec le joint de fibre. Un capuchon intermédiaire peut être accouplé à une extrémité du logement et conçu pour appliquer une charge à l'activateur de joint. Un capuchon d'extrémité peut être accouplé à une extrémité du capuchon intermédiaire et conçu pour assurer une protection contre un câble à fibre optique inséré. L'application de la charge à l'activateur de joint peut entraîner la formation d'une barrière autour d'une ligne à fibre optique insérée.
