Summary:A method for voice continuity call (VCC) handover is disclosed which comprises the following steps: receiving a SR VCC handover request message carrying emergency call indication information; perceiving from the handover request message that the current handover request is an SR VCC emergency call handover request; performing an SR VCC emergency call handover from the current network side to the target network side. Accordingly, a network system, mobile switching center, mobility management entity and GPRS service support point for voice continuity call handover are also disclosed. The scheme provided in the present invention enables a mobile switching center (MSC) to perceive that a current call is an SR VCC emergency call, and therefore to route said current call to an IMS domain to complete voice call anchoring, and finally implementing SR VCC emergency call handover.
