Summary:A container (10) for bone cement includes a first member (12) defining a chamber (14), which contains a first ingredient (16). The chamber also includes a second member (18) movably coupled to the first member. The second member includes a mixing device (44) that is movably disposed within the first chamber, and the second member defines a second chamber (20) containing a second ingredient (22). The container additional includes an opening device (24) that selectively opens the second chamber and allows the second ingredient to enter from the second chamber into the first chamber. The mixing device is movable within the first chamber to promote mixing of the first ingredient and the second ingredient to prepare the bone cement. A corresponding method of preparing bone cement is also disclosed. La présente invention concerne un contenant (10) pour ciment osseux, qui inclut un premier élément (12) définissant une chambre (14) renfermant un premier ingrédient (16). Ladite chambre inclut également un second élément (18) accouplé mobile au premier élément. Ledit second élément inclut un dispositif de mélange (44) qui est agencé mobile dans la première chambre, et le second élément définit une seconde chambre (20) renfermant un second ingrédient (22). Le contenant inclut en outre un dispositif d'ouverture (24) qui ouvre de manière sélective la seconde chambre et permet au second ingrédient d'entrer dans la première chambre depuis la seconde chambre. Ledit dispositif de mélange est mobile dans la première chambre, ce qui favorise le mélange du premier ingrédient et du second ingrédient, pour permettre la préparation du ciment osseux. L'invention porte également sur un procédé correspondant de préparation de ciment osseux.
