Disclosed is a novel microorganism which is expected to have both a prophylactic effect and a therapeutic effect, is applicable to various plant pathogens, and is not reduced in its efficacy even when the microorganism is used in combination with an agrichemical agent.  Also disclosed is a plant disease control agent comprising the microorganism. The novel microorganism is Bacillus subtilis KS1 strain (NITE BP-569).  The plant disease control agent comprises a culture and/or a cell of the microorganism as an active ingredient. L'invention porte sur un nouveau microorganisme dont il est attendu qu'il ait à la fois un effet prophylactique et un effet thérapeutique, qui est applicable à divers pathogènes des plantes et dont l'efficacité n'est pas réduite même lorsque le microorganisme est utilisé en combinaison avec un agent agrochimique. L'invention porte également sur un agent de lutte contre les maladies des plantes comprenant le microorganisme. Le nouveau microorganisme est la souche Bacillus subtilis KS1 (NITE BP-569). L'agent de lutte contre les maladies des plantes comprend une culture et/ou une cellule du microorganisme en tant que principe actif.
