The invention relates to a circuit arrangement (100) for activation of a light emitting diode circuit having a flow voltage ULED, comprising a circuit controller (19) having a target output voltage USoll. The invention proposes that the target output voltage USoll can be adjusted to the flow voltage ULED in order to reduce the losses in the control transistor (12) of the current control loop independently of the flow voltage ULED actually occurring at the light emitting diodes (17, 18).
