Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Anzeigen einer Gargut- oder Garprogrammauswahl während zumindest eines Teils eines in einem Garraum eines Gargeräts ablaufenden Garprozesses, wobei der Garprozess durch eine Vielzahl von zumindest zeitweise parallel im Garraum ablaufenden Garprogrammen bestimmt wird, wobei zumindest eine für die Atmosphäre im Garraum während des Garprozesses charakteristische Größe bestimmt wird unter Berücksichtigung jeder Änderung zumindest eines ersten, für die Beladung des Garraums mit Gargut während des Garprozesses charakteristischen Parameters im Falle einer Gargutauswahlanzeige oder jeder Änderung zumindest eines zweiten, für zumindest zeitweise während des Garprozesses im Garraum parallel laufende Garprogramme im Falle einer Garprogrammauswahlanzeige charakteristischen Parameters, und die Anzeige der Gargut- bzw. Garprogrammauswahl angepasst wird an jede Änderung besagter Größe, und ein Gargerät hierfür. The invention also relates to a cooking appliance for carrying out said method.
