In order to facilitate the configuration operation of a configuration file, a coin processor comprises an acceptance section (102) for accepting coins, a storage section (118) for storing a plurality of configuration files (118B) including a threshold configured for each of a plurality of determining elements, a selection section (120) for selecting one of the configuration files (118B) stored in the storage section (118), and a determination section (104) for determining the right-error or the truth-false of the coins accepted by the acceptance section (102) on the basis of a plurality of thresholds included in the configuration file (118B) selected by the selection section (120).
