The present relates to a method for watermarking a set of data, said method comprising the acts of partitioning the set of data into a plurality of layers and transforming a first layer into a first watermarked layer with a watermarking function using a watermarking key and a watermark, wherein the watermark is generated from a hash function applied to a second watermarked layer. La présente invention se rapporte à un procédé pour filigraner un ensemble de données, ledit procédé comprenant les étapes consistant à séparer l'ensemble de données en une pluralité de couches et à transformer une première couche en une première couche filigranée à l'aide d'une fonction de filigranage utilisant une clé de filigranage et un filigrane. Le filigrane est généré à partir d'une fonction de hachage appliquée à une seconde couche filigranée.
