He may also be supplied with an indication (41) of the boundaries of said scan and an indication of a guide trace (42). Lors d'une investigation à la surface (2) d'un objet (1) à l'aide d'un capteur (18) de mesure physique, on projette (30), en temps réel (24-29), sur cette surface un tracé (39) d'un balayage effectué, de telle façon que l'opérateur puisse se rendre compte de l'accomplissement adéquat de sa mission de mesure. On peut aussi lui fournir une indication (41) des limites de son balayage et une indication d'un tracé guide (42).
