L'invention porte sur des mousses polymères extrudées qui sont préparées à l'aide de composés 5,5-bis(bromométhyl)-2-oxo-1,3,2-dioxaphosphorinanes ou 2-oxo-1,3,2-dioxaphosphorinanes bromés. Les additifs FR bromés sont stables de façon inattendue aux températures d'extrusion, et confèrent un excellent retard de flamme aux mousses.
