The shaft is attached to a high-resolution encoder and a motor allowing software control of the actual movement and cycle definitions provided by the control. La présente invention a trait à une commande de cycle qui peut être utilisée pour de nombreux appareils électriques différents. La commande de cycle fournit un bouton standard sur l'arbre qui peut être tourné et tiré ou enfoncé pour activer la machine à laver. L'arbre est fixé à un encodeur à haute résolution et à un moteur permettant un contrôle logiciel du mouvement réel et des définitions de cycle fournies par la commande.
