The invention provides a thermostat for controlling a room temperature by operating a valve of a radiator. To prevent unintended adjustment of the temperature, the thermostat comprises a locking structure which may prevent changing of a temperature set-value. The thermostat comprises a handle for setting the set-value by rotation of the handle relative to the base, and to improve the thermostat and to provide a more simple operation of the thermostat, the handle is also moveable relative to the base for locking and unlocking the locking structure. L'invention concerne un thermostat permettant de régler la température d'une pièce en actionnant la vanne d'un radiateur. Afin d'empêcher un réglage indésiré de la température, le thermostat comprend une structure de verrouillage permettant d'empêcher le changement d'une valeur thermique établie. Le thermostat comprend une poignée pour régler la valeur établie par rotation de la poignée par rapport à la base et, afin d'obtenir un thermostat perfectionné et une plus simple utilisation de celui-ci, la poignée est également mobile par rapport à la base pour verrouiller et déverrouiller la structure de verrouillage.
